We've put the Fall Festival to bed for a little while and accordingly, we've moved our Race Day back to October 7th, and moved the time UP with staggered starts. This year our 10K will start at 10:00 and the 5K at 10:15. Because of our great sponsors, our registration fee is just $25 for early registration, with NO PROCESSING FEES, and $5.00 of every registration will be donated this year to a local charity. This year we are supporting Area 9 Special Olympics.
Our course can easily be described as one of a kind. As the name implies, the course is in the shape of a cross, perfect for those who are not a fan of "out and back" courses and for those who like to use apps and gps trackers to create unique maps. Links to the course can be found at the bottom of this page.
We do prohibit roller blades & pets. There will be a post race party as always. This year's party is still being planned, but anticipate music, food, and adult beverages - all included with the price of your registration.
If there is an interest, an early packet pickup will be scheduled.
Early registration ends on September 22, 2017.
ALL PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ARE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. Those who register, or who's registrations are RECEIVED after September 22 will NOT be guaranteed a race shirt.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female runners in the timed races and to the top three runners in each age group.
Team Challenge Announcement: Largest overall team in all events will win $100 cash. Largest Knights of Columbus Team will receive $100 cash. The traveling trophies will also be awarded. Teams must be created by September 22 with at least one member registered.
FASTEST TEAMS AWARDS! The top 5 racers on each team will be scored. Teams may be co-ed as the team desires. The fastest teams in the 5 and 10 K races will receive a trophy and $50 cash. Minimum of 5 racers per event to qualify.
Please stay for the awards ceremony which will be at about 11:45 a.m.
You must be present to win a door prize and no award, medal or trophy will be mailed. We encourage you to stay and socialize with old friends and make new ones.
The race will go forward, rain or shine. Lightning may make us wait. No refunds!
