FALL FESTIVAL 5K
Come enjoy a beautiful day on a one of a kind course. No roller blades, please, and strollers only for the walk. Post race party on the Festival grounds with a hamburger/hot dog stand, games and activities for the kids. A full chicken dinner is also available in the air conditioned Parish Center as well as a beer tent with live entertainment and an area to play BINGO. Pre-race entertainment will be provided by a local DJ on the picnic grounds.
This 5K run/walk will be September 19, 2010 and starts promptly at noon and features chip timing for fast and accurate results. The cost is $20 for early registration and $25 late registration. There is a special discount in that a family of three or more register for $50; $55 for late registration.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female runner and walker and to the top three runners in each age group. A special “bragging rights” traveling trophy will be awarded to the group or organization with the most participating members. We look forward to seeing you there!

Special Announcement:
At our last meeting, the Festival Committee voted that all paid participants in the 5K will receive a coupon for a free drink and hamburger. The coupon can be redeemed at the food tent or the beer tent. This will be in addition to the normal recovery nourishment found at most 5K race events. We thank you for your support.
